This journey of life can be full of stress, anxiety, trauma and pain, as well as joy, connection, love and growth. All of us are on our own journey of healing and self-discovery as we deal with the realities of life and being human.
How do I work?
I am not the ‘expert’, rather you are the expert of your life. I am simply a guide for a time, as you explore what has brought you to this point and how you want to move forward.
As we are all unique, I draw on a variety of methods and techniques depending on you and your goals. I also understand that we are more than just minds and bodies, we are wonderfully complex. For that reason I am passionate about working in an integrated way with all the parts of our self: mind, body and soul.
Sometimes we will be exploring the past, at other times we will be processing the present or making goals for the future. Sessions can include tears and often there is also laughter. Ultimately therapy is what you want it to be. It is a space just for you.
